Complaints

 

Process

Parents and caregivers are urged to discuss any concerns with their child's classroom teacher initially. If this is not appropriate for your concern then please approach the Principal in the first instance.
 
Board members are always happy to hear your concerns and assist you to resolve issues but only serious complaints or policy suggestions would normally be heard by the Board without having first been raised with the Principal. This policy is accessible through the button bottom of this page. 
 
If you have a concern or issue which you believe needs the Board's attention or any matter you wish the Board to consider please refer to the Complaints & Concerns flow diagram procedure below. The full policy can be found at School Policies & Procedures.
 
St Gerard's school is a Restorative Practice school and where possible, and appropriate, the Board will always seek a restorative path to resolve any complaints in the first instance.
